We will comply with all applicable conventions, laws and regulations and have implemented programs and procedures to this end. Compliance with ISM Code/ EHS standards will be fundamental in the training, performance, reviews of all employees.
We continuously seek systems and procedures that keep abreast with regulatory requirements for reducing risk to human health and the environment, and we have established monitoring systems to ensure we meet our own EHS quality standards where appropriate. We adhere to standards designed to prevent conditions that pose a threat to human health, the safety of the ship, its crew, cargo and the surroundings. We continuously seek ways to minimize risk and protect our employees and the communities in which we operate by employing clean safe technologies and operating procedures, as well as being prepared for emergencies. We are also aware of our duty to properly manage scarce resources such as Water and Energy; to employ only Environment friendly chemicals and to use only acceptable means of waste disposal and emissions into the atmosphere.
We communicate our commitment to EHS quality and to our company’s environmental performance to our employees, vendors and customers. We solicit their input and in turn share our successes or failures in an ongoing effort to attain our common goal.
We measure our progress on an on going basis as we constantly strive to adhere to the above principles.
